FOUR would-be ghost hunters were busted by security officers at the old Swanbourne Hospital on Saturday night.
Police said two men (aged 28 and 20) and two women (20 and 22) had brought an electro-magnetic field device – bought from a ghost hunting equipment website – to the Mt Claremont building, which is said to be haunted.
The four were seen by patrols carrying torches in the disused building.
They will be summonsed to appear at Perth Magistrates Court in September.
Ghost hunting can be more dangerous that you might think but for normal rather than paranormal reasons. Whether Skeptical or credulous some ghost hunters seek to explore disused and dangerous buildings without taking proper safety precautions or seeking proper permission from building owners.
