Skeptic News: Chiropractic for cows?!

Source: http://www.alternativevet.org/images/Cow%20face.jpgIn Seattle Lucky, a 7-year-old dairy cow, had been walking with a limp for several weeks when veterinarian Sara Gilbertsonwas called. Instead of prescribing painkillers, Gilbertson tried an unusual new therapy — a chiropractic adjustment that included a full-length spinal massage.

Alternative medicine is making it’s way out of patient care and into pet care.

The Alternative vet recommends homeopathic, chiropractic and acupuncture treatments for animal ailments and offers these treatments in Oxfordshire.

As well as the treatments listed above Aromatherapy (Essential Oils), Flower Essences (incl. Bach Flowers) , Schuessler Tissue Salts (Biochemic Tissue Salts) , Crystal Therapy , LASER Therapy , Ultrasound Therapy , Magnet Therapy and Preventive Therapy are also offered…

There have even been proposals from the EU to investigate whether homeopathy can treat cattle.
